Foiled counter earrings
A set of seven foiled and pierced counters were discovered in the courtyard of the Château Royal of Blois. They probably were probably used in a game called tabula, better known today as backgammon. This game was often played in the Middle Ages and was very popular amongst the circle of acquaintances of the Count of Blois.
