Library
This department preserves the memory of the château and its collections since the founding of the museum in 1850. The collection belonging to the Château and the Fine Arts Museum of Blois library contains nearly 4 000 books on history, art history, and the decorative arts, along with monographs, periodical publications, and catalogues for exhibitions, museums, and salons. It also possesses an important local collection.
This library is open to the public for consultation by appointment and there are also possibilities to photocopy. The files of the collections can be consulted by formal request.
Open from Monday to Friday, 9.00 am-12.30 pm and 1.30 pm-5.30 pm
